What's the show about?

Now seen by millions across the globe, Dirty Dancing is the stage adaptation of the unbelievably successful and now cult 1987 hit movie that starred Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey. The production, written by Eleanor Bergstein, the scriptwriter and co-producer of the original film, first opened on London’s West End at the Aldwych Theatre in 2006 and it then went on to enjoy a five-year run. Featuring hit songs including ‘Hungry Eyes’, ‘Hey Baby’ and the now famous ‘(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life’, the musical sensation is back!

What's the story?

Set in the beautiful Catskill Mountains of America’s east coast, Dirty Dancing tell a coming-of-age story during the humid summer of 1963 at Kellerman’s family resort. A young girl known as ‘Baby’ arrives at the resort with her overprotective mother and father and meets the dance instructor in residence, Johnny Castle, who sweeps ‘Baby’ off her feet to secret all-night jives, where you can dance as dirty as you like! Emotions are high and the temperature is even higher in this romantic tale of young love.
