What's the show about?

The smash-hit show was created by legendary rock band Queen and comic genius Ben Elton. Using over 24 of Queen’s classic hit songs, such as ‘Killer Queen’, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘Radio Ga Ga’ ... and, of course, ‘We Will Rock You’, the pairing created a new breed of rock musical that brings audiences to their feet every night. We Will Rock You’s electrifying power to entertain has kept audiences coming back again and again – making it the longest running-show in the Dominion Theatre’s long and illustrious history.

What's the story?

Set far into the earth’s future, this eccentric tale tells the thrilling story of one man’s struggle to overcome suppression and find freedom through music. The rebellious Galileo and his reluctant, but beautiful, sidekick Scaramouche both find themselves hunted by a malicious global corporation, hell-bent on making the world’s population conform by banning all music. But resistance is growing and Galileo might just be the man destined to set the world free and bring rock music back … for good.

This funny and clever musical blends the magnificent songs of Queen with Ben Elton’s razor-sharp wit, turning pop culture and topical references into side-splitting jokes that have the audience rolling in the aisle.

Who is it for, Should I see it?

Targeted specifically at fans of Queen, of which there are many, the show’s bold, fast and energetic style makes it perfect for older children and young adults too, especially as the story is all about a sort of teenage rebellion. The music of Queen is timeless and will have old and young singing along by the end. Due to the mild adult themes present in the show, it is recommended for ages ten and above. Children under the age of five will not be admitted.
