Mid-Week Performances
When booking to see a show in London’s glitzy West End, most people tend to buy tickets for either a Friday or Saturday. This is mainly due to many people wanting to make an occasion of it, choosing to spend the day in London, shopping, dining and generally enjoying themselves before or after the show. However, if it is possible for you to find the time in the week, then tickets tend to be quite a bit cheaper!
These mid-week performances are considered ‘off-peak’ and can sometimes be almost as much as 50% less expensive than a weekend or ‘on-peak’ ticket. This is due to weekday performances being less popular than weekend ones. Another advantage is that some of the ‘premium’ seat (the best seats in the house) are much more likely to be available mid-week rather than weekend – still expensive but a guaranteed evening of brilliance!
